Title: fault code 0683

I have a fault code of 0683 from the pedal trick on my 55 plate astra (H) 1.3cdti, can anyone tell me what it is. Did notice the engine cooling fan running quick last night after a 120 mile drive (motorway drive ::) ::) ;))

glow plug control module to pcm com circuit.

Thanks i do have a problem with one of the glow plugs ie it's broken and stuck fast so i have left it as it starts OK with 3 working. will have to look deeper to see why this fan is coming on so soon. :-/
