My 53 plate MV6 passed it's M.O.T. on Friday with no advisories.... :y :y :y :y
I took it to my local Vauxhall dealer some ten minutes drive away. Cost £39.95. :y
The tester said it was one of the best he had seen. I quote. 'like new underneath Sir'
My cambelt needs changing too. They initally quoted £465 for cambelt....tensioners ...water pump.....and fresh anti-freeze.
Surprisingly (for a VX dealer) he was happy to negotiate. We can do it for £330 Sir.... using genuine Vauxhall parts....and you get a stamp in the service book. I don't think this sounds too bad.
Before senior OOF members knock my front door down and slip a noose around my neck for fraternising with the enemy ;D ;D ;D I should say in my defence that I wanted expert spanner-twirler Elite Pete to do the job..( I sent him a PM) but because of the travel costs involved it came to nothing.

The cost of fuel these days Opti does make it prohibitive unless there is someone else local that wants work doing so the costs can be split ;)
Well done on the MOT pass :y

Get yourself a moped with a box on for your tools Pete, problem solved...you can cover Land's End to John O'Groats then :y

Sounds a good price to me from a vxl dealer so any probs you got a come back might pop down to mine to get a price,
