Title: Sending wheels ..........
Post by: I_want_an_Omega on 01 August 2011, 19:36:35
Ok, if I were to sell someone a wheel/tyre via the bay or OOF, how would I actually send it?

You can't exactly take it down the post office can you?

How would you wrap it?

Any ideas/comments welcome.

Thanks - Rob

Heavy cardboard either side with holes lined up with centre hub hole, duck tape through hole, 12-6, 9-3

Exactly as above - thick card cut to somehting like hexagons, bind round with parcel tape and then if they are in particularly good condition and no tyres I would wrap with bubble wrap.

I have used Paisley freight a few time with no hassles - just get the number off a listing on ebay to place the order.

Think I'd be inclined to go down the collection only route first, then if it doen't sell have a re think.

Limits the appeal / reduces the chances of getting best price.
