AM is always poor, especially in a car environment. We're talking about 100 year old technology here. ;D

Can you get that station on DAB? Much as DAB is pants, it'll be a whole lot better than AM.

I may be wrong but I don't think AM is transmitted at full strength any more,I used to listen to the F1 on AM in the car and it was pretty good but not any more.
Perhaps someone else knows a better reason :-/

talksport is on 1053am in my area and 1059 in others, listened to it for years and the omega i have just sold played it perfect without any interference at all.
just wondered if there was any way to maybe boost the signal, and if so how where and what would i need to do?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Car-Aerial-Antenna-Booster-Amplifier/dp/B004SO5FUE

It will need a 12V supply.
Also bear in mind that not only will it amplify the incoming waveform, it will also amplify any noise that is present on said incoming waveform.
