Was driving back home from Glasgow yesterday along the M8 and saw a daftie driving a Pajero towing a twin axle car trailer.
At 20 mph.....
He had a Transit Luton fridge van on the trailer and it was swaying about like a thing possesed, so much so that he was seesawing at the steering wheel trying to keep a straight course.
Guessing its the weight differential rather than him failing to check tyre pressures before setting off but I bet it had his harris cheeks grabbing the seat cover.....

Probably wouldn't have said much. I never mastered the art of talking and writing tickets at the same time... ;D

I've had a little bit of tail wagging with a semiconductor on the trailer I'd say it's more the van having a high centre of gravity!

As B said overweight. Length is another issue.... ::) Hence i could tow the little 2 berth at 70+ as it was not only lighter but shorter than the towing vehicle. Best to stick to 50mph though as if the van/traler blows a tyre things can get messy. :o
