Does such a thing exist? Need a trade club dealer in Cornwall. From Wadebridge, the nearest dealer is in Bodmin. But they are not part of the trade club scheme.

Not that I have found so far. But only had them in the wobbly gay.

So you are saying the difference is purely alleged 'feel' and the amount of dust?

The argument for them hasn't changed. Nor has the price mind.

Thanks, fink I understand now.
So if I have no issue with the feel, I should stick to significantly cheaper TC ones....

Oe will not squeal, they will last considerably longer than tc, they will give consistent superior feel for longer. They are a far superior pad to tc pads. They also have a far far superior price.
You pays your money....

Oh, and they produce far less dust.
-
they will last considerably longer than tc...........................Oh, and they produce far less dust.
In my simple mind, that means they are harder?
Which in my simple mind means inferior for performance and superior for durability. At £12 + VAT, I'll go for performance, if it really is that simple :-/

Obviously there s yours/our needs, and then there's others to consider. For instance not all will brake like you do. I know I don't.
What works for you, due to cost as I guess your tc pads get binned way earlier than most(?) may well work differently for others. "normal driving" what ever that is, read "slower driving with less aggressive braking" will give better life, and the feel and bite of oe will shine through more consistently for longer with less dust no squeal etc etc.
We have discussed many times they may not be suitable for "TB" as nobody I know brakes like TB does, so we won't find out if they are suitable for TB until TB fits them.
Every other bugger won't have a problem with them, except maybe the price...we often see posts about poor brakes, although not for a while to be fair. I do have a niggling doubt there may have been a bad batch of tc pads, making oe look superior.
But having just fitted tc, to be replaced with oe shortly, I can soon test the theory. (front discs are cheaper to buy with pads in the tc set or I wouldn't have tc pads at all) given the car is now set up with better suspension, oe will get some grief this time round I'm fairly sure. :-X ;)
-
Ive run both....due to getting OE at less than TC cost!
Currently have the OE in, and notice no difference really.
In fact, 2 mv6's outside, 1 TC, 1 OE, and nothing to choose between them.
They are cleaner, but I dont think by much :-/
Again, this is just my opinion, I Know Chris rates them very highly.

Whilst I don't like to skimp on such things, cost is a factor *if* there is no performance difference. Despite driving many, many omegas some with OE, including your gold one Mr Gixer, I have never noticed the 'feel' difference (beyond normal variances). But then I won't drive other people's cars like I may drive my own :-/
I like to slap on new fronts at about half worn, as they (TC) seem more prone to fading beyond that. Not sure if OE the same, hence earlier question about fade on OE
I am tempted to try OE, but it's an expensive experiment if no gains, as they will only likely be on 6-9 months
