Hi
Just picked up a Irmscher Vectra 2.2 SRI for the other half, lovely motor and pretty quick. It only came with 1 key so I want to source another - its the 3 button type.
If I buy one off eBay and get it cut somewhere, how do I get it reprogrammed with out being bent over by a Vx dealer?
Many thanks!

I dont know about the 3 button type, but with the 2 button you press both button of all key fobs in turn with a few seconds of putting the key in and turning it on....

Cheers mate but dont the key have to be reprogrammed by tech2 due to the immobilser chip? Will open doors but wont start car...? :o

Tech2 required for remote and immobiliser. Carpass also reqd.
Where are you, iirc you are East Mids? I may be able to help in a couple of weeks ;) :-X
(see price list in my signature for pricing)

Oh, and is it a Veccy-C, as that needs more than a Tech2, it needs a CANdi module as well....

Hey buddy, I'm on the Norfolk Coast :o
Yep its a Vectra C and I have the car pass! See your pricing, looks good... If I had to go to Vx, what would I expect to pay?
Cheers :y

My local dealer is £45 + VAT, but others may be cheaper. Give dealer a call....

Just a quick question, what is the ELM interfaces like - can they do stuff like reprogramme keys and immobilisers?
Only asked as my friend has one connected to his laptop?

Generally generic (certainly the cheaper ones). The more expensive software is more capable....
Unless he spend £1000s on his software, unlikely to do your keys...
