Chevy Omega, Cadillac Catera, Holden Commodore badges seem like a nicely subtle touch (not all of them at the same time! ::)). But not Opel badges as everyone has them.
I think I'll get Holden badges from eBay Australia, just for fun.
(When I had a 944 Turbo with a 968 back end, I had a 944 S3 badge made (there were never any 944 S3s made by Porsche). Only those who knew smiled. 8-)
Whaddya guys think?

I have a autobot badge on mine
-
I like the idea, I was thinking of de-badging mine....
-
nobody gets close enough to look at my badge ;D ;D ;D ;)
-
That's cos you're from Frome. Here in London, we have to sit in traffic jams looking at boot badges. >:(
-
Already have a Holden badge on mine! ;) ;)
-
Really?!! :o
Where from?
-
Fleabay, bare in mind there are some really poor quality cheap ones on there.. :y
-
I removed them from my V6 but as the diesel is exactly the same colour and model I left them on so I can double check before filling up with fuel!
-
i was going to get my mate to send me some caddy badges, but not sure if they will go straight on. holden seems fun

You could really confuse people and fit a couple of blue ovals ;D
-
I have a Vauxhall badge on one of my Holdens !
-
Hmm...maybe I should buy a Ferrari and put Fiat badges on it.
Or a Bentley and put VW badges on it
:)

This worries me as i heard a story a few years back that someone changed all the Vauxhall badges on his car for Opel ones, not a problem but, he was parked up in a carpark and while he was gone the traffic warden came along checking the tickets and noticed the tax disc on the car said Vauxhall but it was, as far as he was concerned on an Opel.
The guy ended up with a ticket and alot of explaining before the case was dropped. Now i can't say for sure if the story is true or not but it is possible if someone is checking cars who doesn't know anything about them, just something to keep in mind
Cheers

My omega says Astra 1.4 on the back , similarly bike says Kawasaki on petrol tank plates, and GP100 ( is a suzuki),previous 2.8 Capri had 1.4 on each side, Granada 2.8 had Sierra 1.6D on the back - just for confusion purposes.
-
I wonder, is total de-badging illegal?
The automotive equivalent of a Brazilian?

Illegal I doubt.. but you're probably meant to inform your insurance company so they can charge you more ;)
There are no badges on the back of my MR2 and the only one on the front is a modified version of the Japanese MR-S badge.. we parked three in a row at a hotel once and chuckled as one guest walked around them all several times scratching his head ;D
