Although they let a few gems go when they closed the old design studio. The one off Black magic Chevette stood on the flat roof for years until it rotted away afaik.
Iirc Wayne Cherries similar Firenza estate suffered a similar fate, last I heard.
Remaining stock of Blydenstien 2.6 stroker kits for the slant 4 ended up as ballast in the keel of a boat.

Nope , they actually all survive and can be seen at Billing every year.

They keep using the word 'styling' .. yet I don't think they know what it means.  ;D (Sorry, the 'droop snoot' cars look incredibly ugly, to me!)

Being Fords, I suspect that these are the ones that broke down before they even left the factory!!  :P

Check out picture 25... I think DLK has visited this place before and become 'intimate' with someone over the bonnet of that Granada!!  :D :-*

You wouldn't expect that lot in Dagenham now, most of the old Ford plant has gone and all those cars are in a random warehouse near the new Diesel plant.

Brother used to have a MkII Lotus Cortina. Tuned to the nth and went like s**t off a shovel

Dad took us (4 lads) around europe in a Consul (from new) with a caravan on the back for many years

I had a MkI 1300 sport Escort with a 2 Ltr MkII Cortina E engine & gearbox, Corsair diff (4:1 for top end) uprated chassis, brakes & suspension. Those 2.8 inj Capri's didnt know what hit them from the lights   8)

Many great memories  :). Thanks for this post  :y :y :y
