FOLLOWING vAUXHALL TAKING OMEGAS OUT OF PRODUCTION DECIDED TO BITE THE BULLET AND SPEND SOME CASH, LOVE THE OMEGAS!!! THE ONLY THING I SKIMPED ON IS THE RIMS, NOT IRMSCHER, SPLIT RIMS 18'', NEW ALPINE HEAD UNIT, ALPINE v12 amp in boot, plus kicker 12'' woofer. irmscher 20mm lowered suspension, EBC front discs, red stuff brake pads all round (recent addition), double D irmscher exhaust, interior, omega kick plates, mates, irmscher pedals, gear knob in silver. irmscher door pins. Alpine door speakers front and back doors. Works pending either set of 18'' irmscher sport stars or 20'' evo stars; Have silver aluminium steering wheel, yet to be fitted. interior trim is currently wood, need to change to aluminium/silver still considering options available on interior trims e.g., after market at £200 or proper at 1k, and then theres still the lightened flywheel? :-/

Are your discs drilled and grooved?
I changed to drilled and grooved front and rear with green stuff pads all round and the difference was astounding.
You'll definately have to come to the 'Jockular Omega' meet now, that would be cool getting our cars side by side. 8-)

No Kev, front discs are just grooved EBC cost £145, calipers are sprayed silver. Other than Courteney sport I don't know where else to get grooved or drilled discs for the rear. I am always checking out web sites and that, but omegas are not luxury cars for nothing e.g., hardly do a lot of interior mods on the market or engine mods, unless you want to fork out money for one offs. I done a wee bit of DIY last weekend decided to spray the coolant tank cap, windscreen wash cap, oil stick, and oil cap silver with caliper paint, looks OK as it goes. I am even thinking of taking some bits of the engine to get them chromed, but later.

You should be able to get drilled and grooved ok, as i say i've got 'em front and rear, makes quite a difference, especially with the green stuff pads. ::)
Nice to see the old 'Lion Rampant' in the back window there. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
