Fantastic Pictures, :y :y I keep saying me and Mrs Miggy will go up to Scotland with the caravan, I think it is one of the best parts of the country, Apart from Yorkshire of course.

The west coast of scotland is just one of the best areas to visit in terms of scenery either from Perth to the west via Crieff or via Glasgow through Loch lomond. Only problem is from June onwards to around august the midgees can be a right pain >:(, hence the skye trip is normally done around Whitsun e.g., now, my mates e.g., Kev and that will be there for the week, could'nt do this year due to Thailand :'(

To be honest the main places up the west coast I have camped are at Fort Bill (William), Sligachan on isle of Skye. There are lots up there, but I would suggest a site at Fort William, up glen nevis the first site you come to, good base for touring from, just at the base of Ben Nevis. Isel of Skye, always stay at Sligachan, which is nine miles from Portree before you get to portree, again good base for touring the Island, but there are others on Skye but never been to them. :y

Tsk! Must have drove right by and never dropped in to say hello.  ::)

Skye is great though, i usually get the ferry back over. The views on the road leading down to the terminal are out this world.  :y

:yNever done the ferry from the south of the island, used the ferry before the bridge was there, but they have stopped charging on the bridge now.
