Here she is I took some photos from my house of her on the street... I put the Astra wheels back on because I really liked how the car handeled with the Dunlop tires and the lighter wheels.
I do however need some wheel spacers in the rear to stick out those 18x7.5 rims in fact I was thinking of a 25mm spacer DRA series by H&R... the only thing is I am worried about the rear bearings. Any input on that mates?
BTW the Brown Pontiac Grand Prix GXP is putting down 305FWHP... not bad ehh for just a pulley and an new engine management for the 3.8L supercharged... Sad ehhh? my car only put down 185RWHP... o well..

Nope it still has the original Astra tires that came OEM on the car they are the Dunlop Sport SP 01... Run Flats I think... Their size is 225 40 18 which is on the small side because the Dia=25.0"... I need something with a Dia=25.7" so I am in the market for some 245 40 18s whcih BTW my friend has on his Volvo S80 mounted on 18x7.5 and they look fenomenal... so I jsut have to order them up and put them on. The GTO rear wing is getting painted one fo these days and eventaully installed on the rear. I am upgrading the Rotors soon as well and probaly putting GTC badging on it but we will see about that.
I will try to take some more shots and post em on here. The front has the Opel Grill and a German Plate with the American numbers on it..
-
our numberplates have to conform to certain regulations... which is a shame, i'd love american or german plates on my car
american would look good as i only have a 5 "digit" plate

Well my residence state requires a front plate whcih is one of those ugly square ones so when I am at work in the neighboring state I jsut run with the german Plate up front and the american one in the rear.
Here is what she looks like.

Only just seen this. That's a beauty :y Am I the only one who prefers the original wheels? :-/
-
no you're not, but it does look nice with the ones that it has on at the moment

I LOVE the astra wheels but sadly, NOT on the Omega! For 18 inchers, they look tiny! Fill out the astra arches a treat but just look skinny and low fat compared to the originals.
I'm guessing the beach pic is photoshopped? BUT looks the absolute T$TS :D :y
Correct me if i'm wrong but shouldn't a 3.0 be putting out over 200bhp? Or is that at the flywheel? Yours seems a little down on power from standard?

Well to be honest they do look kind of odd due to the small 225 40 18s but soon she will have 245 40 18s and those are going to look way better. I like the 5 spoke design on there because they are rather unique and show of the brakes which I must say are quite big...
I am keeping the OEM wheels and every now and then i still put them on and drive bu as it stands now those are going to be winter set of wheels and these are going to be my main summer wheels.
As to the output the 185 is at the rear wheels and automatics usually loose around 17-22% of the engine HP so i figured its above 200 at the crank...
I have another car that has a 2.0L 4cyl and that was rated at 132hp from factory and it only put down around 109-111hp.. so you can imagine how much the Automatic box steals from ya so 185 should be a good number she is all stock, a filter and a new exhaust and a chip might bring it closer to the 200hp.
I am researching a possible turbo treatment from the Saab 9-5 with the V6 3.0L single turbo that put out around 230hp with very mild intake pressures...but that is still in the research stages.

I prefer the original alloys I think they suit the car alot more but then I am slightly bais ;)

I got some BREMBO rotors but I havent got a chance to put them on just yet.. Instead i went ahead and installed the Stickers that came with them on the GTO calipers... I guess I should have gone with PBR stickers but the brembos are smaller and look kind of good on theree..
