Bought Elite Pete's 'Project 1' from him the other day :) Happy days! Had a few fun moments last night after getting it home, but nothing major! Pete really is sound though! He said if the Omega shows any sign of HG Failure at all (as thats what was suspected when he bought it, but everything pointed to the oil cooler) he would happily take it back :) So as soon as the issues with the DVLA are sorted and its Taxed, I will be taking it for its first run out, and Llandudno has become my target ;D
Amazing car though! So much better than my old poverty-spec GLS which I sold in June!
Anyways, enough banter, this is a Gallery, so PICS PICS PICS!!!

-
Very nice, clean and shiney 8-) yours is the only green I like. I hope she give's you as much driving pleasure as mine give's me. :y
-
Cheers :D
Yeah I am liking the Green, it looks good when its dark, and is somewhat similiar to British Racing Green aswell which is always a good thing :y
Few little things I need to sort on it though.
Need either a new passenger front door, or somehow weld in a new checkstrap as the old one looks like it snapped off sometime in the past (there is no bolts to hold it on just a big gaping hole in the door itself, A-pillar is fine though)
Remote needs coding to the car, and need to sort the Alarm out aswell.
Figure out the TrafficMaster, as it seems to be getting no power or doing anything (but then again I haven't a clue how it works or interfaces with the stereo, although the Stereo was replaced by Vauxhall in 2002, so may explain why...)
Remove the 2nd TC button (there is 2... go figure :-? )
Sort a little bit of rust on a rear arch, and also get a side strip replaced.
All in though - quality little motor :y
-
very nice :y
-
Very nice, hope you get your little bits sorted, when you do it will be the mutts nuts :y
-
Well today I went up to Vauxhall to get some bits :)
Checkstrap repair plates & nuts & washers to sort out both the doors & repair the passenger one (or should I say actually make it work instead of being a big gaping hole in the door :o )
New battery, as the one in it has just gone postal and died...
Also arranged for my uncle to sort out the rust on the rear arch & hopefully any other spots we find over the car (he used to work for bentley)
Still on the lookout for some mats for inside though, and a replacement headlight washer jet as the one on the car is missing the jet which sprays the high beams (the HID one is still there & working though)
Will be doing the doors and battery this Thursday as I'm not in Uni, and as for the arch and stuff with my uncle, whenever I get the time!
