Title: CAMBERS DONE
Post by: MikeDundee on 08 October 2007, 20:28:23
Whilst getting the rims changed over onto the new sport stars, also got the camber done, this cost in total £199, the new pirelli cost £130, so thats £69 for all the rubber change and camber etc done on all four wheels. Therefore, we now have a london based bloke that does geometry, Brockley to be exact in south east london, and has done a few meegas in the past :y, see pics below;

I found a local guy to me who also does the whole digital geometry tracking and camber, and looking at yours in those pics, using same equipment and the total cost of this service.............

i'm not telling you til its done, should be tuesday or wednesday :y

however he tells me that an omega owner off the owners club, from liverpool, has also had theirs done there, I wonder if he means off here!

who's gonna own up? :)

No longer have any pull to the left on the steering wheel, but will also not wear the inside tread before the rest of the tyres on the front, which is what I have just went through, recommends camber to be checked every 7k, I have never had mine checked since i bought it at 83k now at 107k :-/

Oh forgot to mention I was there for almost 3 hrs, also put chrome air valves on and had to put longer wheel nuts on the back wheels  :y
