Post by: donut82 on 17 November 2007, 22:45:45
Thought I should post some pics as I'm a newbie and stopped driving it for longer than 5 mins to clean it. :y

Its not the top of the range but I absolutely love this thing.
This week I will be mostly laughing at people slowing down and driving like saints around me as they think I'm unmarked plod ;D

Lovely looking car :y

I must clean mine sometime....

You're right. They are great cars. First journey I took in mine was through Kent to see my Grandad in hospital. A few exotic cars slammed on the anchors - rushing to catch a ferry no doubt. Had mine since January and it still makes me grin. Except on garage forecourts.

Thats a nice looking omega mate.   :-? I wonder why the exhaust has only one pipe on it instead of  the two like the 3.0L I thought all V6 versions had the Dual Outlet muffler and all 4 cyl had the single out...   ::)

Its not that clean now, its covered in 400 miles worth of kack this week from all the roads. Nice!

I do adore thing but not sure if I want to change a couple of things. A rear lip spoiler and a set of late spec MV6 17's, not the 5 spoke Elite version, the other one which is 9 spoke I think!?! Bit rarer than the Elite alloys alothough they do look nice.

I did have a thought the other day though if the 19s from a Monaro VXR would go straight on? ::)

Not much point thinking anymore than that though as spending funds aren't at there best at this time of year for obvious reasons ;D

:)Nice CLEAN Mig. Have you asked Timbuk for a rear window sticker to go with the tax disc holder?
Not many of us in Lincs. So gotta "fly the flag". :y

Very nice.

We should have a compertition for cleanest car, the bit i find a pain is when i take out the inner wheel arch plastic covers out to polish, and you will be supprised how the dirt collects under the covers.

Well worth the effort though.

lovely car you have

It wouldn't win a cleanest car competition at the mo, not in this weather. I can imagine how mucky your motor gets down there in wales. I drive for a living, cleaned my truck the other wednesday then had Chepstow, Neath, Lampeter and Fishguard. Didn't stay clean for long  ;D

Rear sticker is on the way for the beast and it will be well travelled, got atleast one trip to France in it next year.

Not sure whether to keep it as it is though or have a fettle. Got alot of exspenses next year but if money allows (which knowing my luch it won't) would be after an Irmscher grille, boot lid spoiler, new exhaust system and a set of 19in Monaro alloys and tyres but we shall see  ;)
