Thanks mates... I do like it a lot and I was thinking about finding another one for when time comes to retire this one...
I have already put close to 30K miles on it in about a year and no issues with it yet... just tires oil and gas... and the occasional wax job...

But it has been extremely reliable and comfortable for long journeys... and the best part about it is that its a real head turner around here due to lack of Opels...

I sometimes park it in front of restaurants and not once have I found it outside without someone looking at it or wondering what it is...  :D

I dynoed it and it put down 195RWHP and that with just the Steinmetz and the KN filter in it... so not bad for a as heavy as it is... I think mine is around 3860lbs...
I am looking for BBS wheels which I think will end up shaving about 20lbs per corner and this will help with accelerations braking and overal car handling....
But thanks all for the comments...

Very vice looking car.  :y

I like the lights in the front bumper.  Are they standard?

I have the Xenon lamps in mine, but main beam is dissapointing, even with 85 watt bulbs. Could do with a pair of driving lights.

Whilst I think about it, is the Omega similar to the Cadilac Seville? I saw one on a Spanish website some time ago, and thought the lines were similar, especialy at the rear.

Stunning looking car mate!!!!

This is the logo that I got...  It is similar to AMG and M3/M5 and AUDI S, but for Cadillac since they wanted their own Sports sub-brand but it all started with the Catera Sport because if I remember right, none other cadillac before it had a sport package offered, so in a way our Catera Sport deserves unique badging and more recognision, even thou some other folks may feel different about it..  I like the way it looks on the wheels no matter what people think abou it..

Those are standard Catera Sport wheels. He uses them in the winter for his snow tires. He has a beautiful set of Astra wheels for the summer. Oh, and that black sticker? It's a Cadillac V-Series sticker from the CTS. Vs are Cadillacs response to the BMW M Class or MBenz AMG. That sticker on a Catera has to be good for at least 20HP, am I right?  ::)

I know its the wrong one but do you know how much trouble I went through to get even that one, they just dont exsist on this side of the world, I hat to get some friends to send me one from europe and I guess they were clueless as to the different style badges, so they just picked the first one they got...
I am planning to order a full set of trunk badging so it will be on the car soon... no worries..

Alright I figured its time for new badges so I cant make up my mind as to what to put where... I need some suggestions and help.

I really want to do just OPEL on the lower left and OMEGA on the right side but should I do STEINMETZ on the middle where the CATERA logo used to be or maybe even replace the OPEL logo with STEINMETZ... ?  What do you guys think... here is a quick PAINT file that I threw togeter...

...also should I put anything on there that mentions the engine size or not?  :-?

Ahhh I like that idea, and I have no issues with sending you the grill up front and the rear one... But if anything I would love to get a used set of the European headlights, you think you can get some of those, and we can come up with some sort of a trade...

I was gonna send the OEM grill to someone from Europe a while ago but shipping was bloody expensive...

I will take pictures of the grille and post it to see if you like what the condition it is...

What's different about the European headlights that makes them more desirable than American spec ones? I know you have HID lights on your car. Is the cutoff different? Remember to specify LHD lights.

Well the reason why I want the euro ones is because I cant find a used set for cheap around here and also the ones from there are made to different specs with sharper cut off and also a slightly different pattern, I drove a European omega once and I liked the way it was lighting up the road and also mine are faded and scratched and they look like poop, also the adjusters are busted so... new ones will never hurt, also I want to see if I can get the set with the height adjustable option, as I figured that may become useful, remember we never get the good stuff on this side of the pond...
