Title: Bloody Joyriders
Post by: Chopsdad on 16 July 2007, 22:41:58
I looked out of my window tonight and caught this guy in my car!

He shouted something in a Yorkshire accent about loving silver Omega's and quickly vanished.

Anyone seen him before?

Ps. He smells of lemons  ;D

Never seen him before but I reckon you should wipe the smile off his face.

That has got to be the cleanest car I've ever seen.

If there was a smiley of me lying flat on my back kicking my legs and crying as if to say my car will never look like that, then this would be the perfect time to use it!!!!

Actually Andy, it's a chrome effect spray available from Halfords or B&Q etc.  Cost's about a fiver a tin.  Just remember to rub the yellow plastic with abrasive paper and make sure it's free from grease.  Keep the tin though as some bits, especially the washer bottle cap, need redoing every now and again :y

Not a specific type of paint for plastic then?
Car manufacturers always seem to have to make the engine multi coloured for the numpties that can't find things if they don't. I lost the black oil filler cap from my Senator, and when I went to buy another I was presented with a yellow replacement!  :( I had to get  a black one from the scrappies.
