Post by: MikeDundee on 15 July 2007, 12:18:44
This guy is still outside working on his car, I am about to go out, and I will be speaking to him, he is on double yellows to say the least, and could've left me a wee bit more space to F****n get out, and I don't know who owns the beemer >:(

Looks suspiciously like a Machine Mart trolley jack to me, wonder if he will get a ticket for the jack as well as the car. ;D

You missed a chance there mate. Should have got a can or REDEX in the tank and revved the bow locks of the car. That would have given 4 years supply of carbmon monoppsside in one go.

Sorry guys, but this bloke has all my sympathy... it could have been me. This is how I do my DIY car fixing - in the street. OK, so I use axle stands (you start doing things like that after you have kids of your own...), but I admire the token effort of placing the wheel under the side of the vehicle. And your Omega looks very good from this angle, Mike...

So the weekend street theatre is as good in Peckham as it is in Salford during the week eh.
Saw one running round her estate in a tshirt and towel this morning.

Yeah, and today whilst I was at work, some guy came into the front garden and was filling up a bottle with water and attempting to wash himself, not shirt on but minging, Mrs Dundee caught him, so at dinnertime I removed the tap handle to prevent further abuse of my water tap :y

its possible that he deadlocked his car from inside, dropped the keys and they fell through a tiny rust gap in the floor but far enough out of reach and his only way out was by removing the dash and climbing out through the wheel arch....?

come on, Mr Bean would have!!

I’m amazed he didn’t get a Parking Ticket; it’s the only part of Southwark Council that works  -- with brutal efficiency  >:(

I can confirm that the chinese guy is fine, saw his car parked in 2 places today the most recent 2 doors away from me, tidying up his boot with a pair of black gloves on, he did wear those same gloves at the weekend, i thought his hands were covered in oil/dirt from the car until I had a closer look. Oh and guesss where I have been parked for the past two evenings, the same spot as in the pics :-X
