She's a Pontiac Trans-Am GTA. The GTA stands for Gran Tourismo Americano. An Italian guy had a hand in the Styling & name.
5.7 Litre with straight through exhaust, she sounded tot awsome  :y
I still miss her, but i shall have another when the time's right  :y

Had one of these too, a 1981, 4.9 litre turbo, she was a limited addition Nascar i white, my mate owns it now. I bought it from him as a none runner, got her going, did some restoration & he bought her back for the same price as i bought it from him (but he's a good mate)

The straights are not long enough, you get upto a good speed & then you hit a corner. She was suprizingly good at cornering (don't believe JC on Top Gear)
They're not made from old farm machinery  ;)

I don't need to believe in good old JC, I've been in on around Rockingham, not as much fun as an old E30 M3 around there

Thanx guys for all your comments  :y
The only reason i sold her was, because i didn't use her  :(
She only saw sunny days & spent most of her life in the garage outa the rain.
She has a good home again with the guy that owned before me  :y
Which reminds me, i must ring him  ::)
