Title: The Mothership
Post by: humbucker on 01 March 2008, 12:54:47
Hi all, thought I'd share some pics with you. This is my Elite 3.0i 24v V6, also known as 'The Mothership'. I love this car.

Spec includes integrated car phone and integrated sat nav.

Colour scheme is deep metallic green with cream interior inc. cream leather (which I understand isn't too common, but believe me it's a bitch to keep clean). Pretty much emulates the classic Jaguar colour scheme.

Anyway, enjoy the pics!

no didnt buy in spalding, bought just outside milton keynes about 4 years ago. previous owner had bought an XJ6 with exactly the same paint job. he said he'd always wanted a jag and finally got one, so his 'pretend jag' was no longer required!! ha!

I keep coming back to this thread coz I think this is stunning and is a credit to you.

Also does nyone know if the mats it it are dealer ones or after market as they are tailored for the car.

They look like standard Elite mats.

thanks for all the positive feedback everyone! readers of other threads will know that she's caused me a bit of trouble this past week or so and i've got plenty of maintenance jobs to do that moving home has prevented me from getting on with, but hoping to have her back to former glory in the coming weeks.

as for the mats, they were in the car when i bought her, they're perfect size and shape for the footwells so i guess they're GM ones meant for this model and probably came with the car. that said, a few people have PM'd me about them so maybe i'm wrong?!
