I used to polish previous cars I have had, but for some reason I have never polished this one, it doesn't seem to need it, always looks good without, I don't think you notice as much on silver cars, if it were blue or black I would bet I'd be polishing it all the time!!

I might try polishing it in the summer (if we have one this year) just to see the difference!!

True -- silver has to be one of the lowest maintenance colours! I have a black QX (soon to appear on eBay) as well as the grey Mig -- the black is a s*d to keep looking good !!!!!!! Nice when she has had her bath tho ! 8-)

You can get graphite coloured irmscher centre caps from the dealers for about £20, would finish them wheels of nice.

Hhhmmmm!! I didn't know that! I will look into that!!

I don't think the silver caps looks bad though, I was a bit worried when I first had the wheels powder coated and was going to paint the centre caps but after seeing them done I was happy, It only seems to work because the car is silver, any other colour and I'm pretty sure it would look silly!

Thanks for the heads up regarding the Irmscher ones though! will defo have a look at them!

Are these what you were talking about?

These still look quite light, hopefully they do some darker ones!

looks nice mate, love what you have done with the wheels. I think they look good and with the grill really sets the car off. Good choice all round :y :y :y

They look like silver ones but they do about 4 different ones, 2 silver and 2 in graphite. Either in that design or with the word irmscher across them but I think the single I looks better.

My mate just bought some silver ones for my old estate he bought from me and told they also do them in graphite to suite the original MV6 wheels like mine.

Yeah I bet they do!! always found the guys in my local dealer pretty good, when they see the shock on your face after they told you how much they usually knock a bit off! I also know a mecanic down there so if the shocked face don't work i'm sure he will get me the bits I need!  ;)

Just an update, been to my local vx dealer, they don't stock em, said they never seen graphite ones, only silver and black.
