Enormous improvement! :y I had some real issues with tramlining and bump steer and they have virtually been eliminated and everything is now so much more positive. :)

is it a case of having it done, then needing it done again if you get some new tyres fitted? does it knock all the good work out of sync?

Not at all. Tony actually done the geometry setup first and then fitted the new tyres after.

oh that's reassuring... i'm not looking to replace tyres straightaway but did want to get the wim treatment anyway. was just hoping that tyres when replacing wouldnt undo all the wim work.

good news!

forgive my lack of knowledge but can you tell me what wim treatment is?
I assume its geometry adjustment of some kind. Is it expensive? What are the benefits?

Cheers

WIM is an abbreviation of Wheels In Motion. They are a wheel alignment, geometry and tyre specialist based in Chesham and are highly recommended. Tony Bones is a member on here and offers a discount for OOF members. A full 4 wheel geometry check and setup  for OOF members is £85.00. The benefits are many - even tyre wear, improved traction, more positive steering and braking and elimination of tramlining and bump steer (depending on type of wheels and tyres) to name a few. Money very well spent. :y

I didn't know he was open at weekends. :-? Yep it's a brand new unit and although they've got a little bit more finishing off to do they've done a great job in getting the business back up and running. :y

Have fun and I'm sure you'll be another of their many satisfied customers. :y

Nice images Bob, i didn't realise you were snapping away so merrily....

To clarify prices.... For this club only the full calibration fee is £85inc vat with no time penalties.... You have "The Boy" to thank for that.

Some WD40 on the rear adjusters is recommended prior to your visit as is a health check on areas like wishbones, drag link and steering linkage.

If the worst becomes apparent i do have replacements on site.

As you can see the centre is far from finished, yet operational.

I designed the centre so that "you" the customer can be as involved as you want, everything from a panoramic view from the reception to being able to watch and be tutored to what we a doing and why.

Everything is by appointment so that we can devote our attention to you solely unlike other companies who serve on volume, distilling your importance.

Oh and i make the tea as well  :y
