Thats a fair bit of work you have done mate and it looks good. Pleased to see you haven't stuck spoilers all over it. Bet it goes well, always had a soft spot for the vectras. Well done mate nice car :y :y :y

That is one really nice looking engine bay 8-)

What have you done to that engine?
It doesn't look like the standard 3.0 lump

Different plenum design on the Vectra, the donk is pretty much the same though.

whats the performance like then, has it made any difference?

That looks VERY impressive bjc! :y :y
Now that it is transverse, does it accommodate easier maintenance, being able to obtain easy access to both the front and rear of the block? :-/ :-/ :-/

thanks for the comments.just to answer a few questions.
the car was standard 2.5v6sri.the engine conversion was carried out by 2 guys that i got to know on another forum.they are both time served technicians who work on the v6 engines at the vauxhall plant in elsemere port.in there spare time they do alot of work for members on vvoc.they have vast knowledge of the v6 engine and there work and prices are second to non.see at www.v6technicians.co.uk
when doing the conversion its basically the 3.0l heads and block that are used.all the rest of the vectra 2.5 bits eg(intake system) fit onto the 3.0l omega engine.
the plenums from the 2.5 were sprayed gold with smoothrite aerosol and the vectra metal cam covers black

yes.you can really feel the torque and there is no flat spot which is the common thing on the 2.5 vec.also fitted the lightened flywheel and uprated clutch
