was it called a Sierra over there?
-
The car was called MERCUR XR4i here in the states and was based on the Euro Ford SIERRA COSWORTH, other then that I dont know much more about them... I assume they are AWD and a nice 2.3L Turbo motor... probalby good for around 200HP which was plenty for back in the day...

I spied one of my fav sports cars in the pics.
De Tomaso Panterra. :y :y

its identical to look at, ours is a regular sierra XR4i or XR4x4, not many about over here but i saw a well looked after standard 1993 sierra today :D
not clued up on fords so i dont know which was quicker, the XR's or the Cossies

The XR4i was a 2.8 V6 over here, but no turbo, approx 150bhp

Your Catera look immaculate :y
I like the Triumph TR250, that would fetch upwards of £20,000 in Blighty :o

I'm having BAD thoughts about those new shape Mustangs, actually. :-*
Saw a Shelby one in the car park at Farnborough air show at the weekend. Very nice.

The show was quite amazing there were cars from the early 1900s to the latest and greatest power happy ponies...
My car was parked in the IMPORTS lot instead of Domestic GMs, I have more pictures and I will try to upload them here tonight...
Thanks all for the comments. I love my car and I was thinking about selling it and getting a GTO but I will miss her so much that I think Im gonna keep it for now. ;)
