she,s booked in tomorrow at a mates powerflow garage for the exhaust alterations mentioned before,
ive removed the backbox to see how it sounds and its so sweet,
i,m either just going for 2 pipes out the back with 3" rolled tailpipes,
or, sidepipes out infront of both rear wheels if theres room underneath,

Been told to work on my diplomacy at work - some one made a £82'000 cock up this weekend, seems my responce to the team of "Ok, this is a question for the fu*ktard, what made you think coming in today was a better idea than Saturday?"  was not taken well :(

But yeah, pipes at the rear, though about a pair of stright threw my self a couple of times...

Trust me, you will get pissed off with side pipes after a while, had them on my Pontiac, great at 1st,

The look for a car following  when they realise you actually have a V6 to back twin pipes up is worth all the money you spend.

Seen too many cars with "twin pipes" that are false, and no power.

Rear pipes will help sell it better when you upgrade to the next one as well.  :y :y

Me thinks that what my GLS requires.  Allready sounds like an F1 car, but I think the rest of the exhaust is now stuffed.

If it didnt I would be aking the car bck to them and sort it, as they should advise of the law before they fit.

If you then decide to go ahead if advised againt the legallity of it I sure they would have you sign a waiver.

i was advised on the legals first but i dont personally think its overly loud,

the law has stated for years that any car that has an exhaust that is louder than standard is illegal,
they have prosicuted a few people in the past but its very rare,
there are MOT testers who knock them too, but mines ok at the moment,
it all depends on the individual but i think if it sounds nice you,ll get away with it,

mine sounds nothing like a corsa with a de-cat and 4 6" tailpipes  :y

WTF? Does no one take responsibility for their own actions anymore????

If you walk into McDonalds do you expect them to say "are you aware this may cause blocked arteries in the future" or if you buy petrol do u expect them to say "your car may blow up if this leaks"?  ::)

If you walk into a garage and say "i want an exhaust" then id expect them to give you an exhaust, not discuss the possible legal effect of having it fitted. if you want to find out the legality of it then contact the police/a lawyer yourself before asking to buy one.

6.1 and 18 stone, its about the only car i can afford with enough head room. Rear tail pipes on an estate i think. Were not in Ausy touring cars now, seriously tho anybody seen the new Holden monaro coupe 60? See the side pipes on that puppy!
