Title: my new plaything...
Post by: hotel21 on 01 January 2009, 20:52:49
Two owners, 60k miles, FSH, cream leather, colour satnav, reversing sensors, nice alloys, new gen VX backbox, etc.... Generally a nice car, and paid 'xxx'.....

Looks very very nice  :y :y :y :y

Not sure I could survive with that light carpet, the amount of muck I seem to get in my motor !! Something to do with taking the "mobile home" into fileds I guess :)

I must say that the "Prezzies" Highlander brought were lovely.. :y

The Black Bun which I had never heard of was lovely, Scotlands finest Shortbread didn't last long  ;D and the 60 odd proof Whiskey with some ice was awesome, helped me to sleep too ;D

As for "The Car" I must say it is immaculate, never really being much for Facelifts but I have been converted by this car.
So Highlander I would like to have the first refusal of it please. :y :-*

I was the same for the facelifts, I have to say...  Now mellowed a tad as the pre and minilifts are looking just a wee bit of their age, for some reason....

On the lookout for an Irmscher set for this as well as a light tint to the glass and some nioce alloys to set it all off....

LK has the first dibs (but he was always a crawler.... )   :y   ;D

was this the one that was on Ebay a while back?

Nice looking car, i have always like champagne coloured Omegas.

the light carpet isn't too bad too live with, the first thing i did was to get a set of floormats though

Yup.  Long story, but got there in the end....  :-X

Additional mats (other than the standard carpet ones already there) are on the list...

You decided what you wanted, stuck to your guns & looks like it paid off B. Ticks all your boxes, total class motor, the Beastie's a hard act to follow but trust you to pull it off!!! Before long the Beastie will be as good as she could get (within the bounds of taste) so maybe the two should be photographed together at a meet later this year. I take it your plate will be gracing the new "Mothership"!!!!

Congrats on a peachy Mig, Guy. 8-)

I am not a massive fan of the facelift centre dash layout, but I must admint that now I have seen yours with the colour display and also the fact it is an estate I could very well be tempted to buy one if I could find a 3.2 with low miles like yours. :y

Very Nice Motor.  (look after it for me and keep the mileage down ::) :y :y

Fully loaded beautiful car. Colour Sat-Nav is very rare in the UK, same as cream and grey interior (most of creams goes with not nice looking light brown colour  :-[ ).
Champagne colour - it's the colour that fits best to Omega. It makes her look really light but distinctive. Really beautiful example.
I will be picky now but the tool holding foam is missing from spare wheel.  I'm just jealous now ;)
