Our snapshot camera died over Christmas and I went out on a rather chilly morning in January to try out its' successor. Thought these might bring back some memories. Not too bad for a 70 quid point and shoot, I thought. Wish it had a proper viewfinder though. >:(

Thanks Kevin!! :y :y :y :y
They are great and show the Mid Hants at its best! 8-) 8-) 8-) When you are there working on engines though, I know only too well how cold it is when the frost or snow is around like that! ;) You can stick to the side of a piece of metal quiet easily. ::) ::)
The A4 certainly looks very good on the line, albeit a "foreign" engine! ;D ;D ;)

Out of pure curiosity - what camera is it?

I thought it was going to be a photo of a Ford Granada or a Consul, to assist with her confusion....... :-X

Out of pure curiosity - what camera is it?
A Fuji J100.
Initial findings are that it does a pretty good job outdoors. It's pure point-and-shoot. Very little manual override possible, or needed in most scenarios, in all fairness. I wish it had a proper viewfinder instead of the LCD on the back. I just can't frame pictures using that, as you can see above, but that seems to be the way cheap cameras are going. It suffers chronic red-eye indoors with the flash, and the redeye removal they harp on about does nothing useful. Battery has to be removed and placed in a charger, which is not ideal.
Then again, for the money and the size of the thing I would expect to have a few gripes. It can be chucked in a shirt pocket and forgotten about, and I have an SLR for when I want to do something more demanding.

I had a HP735, running on AA batteries, 3 shots quick and the batteries had all the life sucked out of them >:(
The kids offerred to get me a new camera for chrimbo ( >:(bah humbug)
I went out and eventually got the FujiJ120 as a point and shoot
Went on holiday and took over 880 photo's in 5 weeks
Got some really nice ones in that lot, taking 3 or 4 shots instead of 1

I looked at the Fuji J120 as well, but I found a Canon Ixus 960IS for 117 quid so went for that instead!
