Hi

I know its not a omega  ;D but heres a picture of my car , ill post some enginebay pics a bit later so you guys can see the job we done installing the v6  ;D.

Yep -- you are right -- it's not an Omega, but still a nice looking motor :y

Look forward to seeing the "new" engine set up  :)

very nice colour.
Not the best choice of wheels, never really liked those tsw's.
But looking forward to seeing the V6 lump in there.

nope motor was a import , we never got cars running these motors . the only models we got was a few 2.6 omega's but if i have seen only 3 of them on our roads

its calibrated for a 4pot so i need to get my hads on a circuit to sort that out  ;D

So is it reading about half as much as its supposed to?

I know someone who used a variable switch like the one on your radio volume, to take the signal and adjust to the proper voltage so that the tack works as its supposed to...

On another note that little car must be a beast... that motor is simply sweet, I was trying to see if that manifold will fit the Omega but I guess it sticks up too far, on the back side, and wont fit...

perhaps a calibra v6 dash would be the answer as im pretty sure they are the same setup :y

 :'( i tried to get one we never got the v6 calibras here . but i think i found a company that can recalibrate mine going to them next week if all goes well .

That will be one mental motor when it's finished  :y
