For some time now, the aircon setup in our server room has been struggling.
As a result, there is water being sprayed onto the external condensers to improve the cooling, this has resulted in a small lake forming which has been roped off......
Any way, 'things' have been slowly appearing here over the last few days....

The building is way past its best and time expired, the contract we have means we have to pay for the maintenance.....and hence they wont spend money on it as we are due an announcement about a new site in the next week or so.

The same building that flooded a couple of weeks back?

The one with the leaky roof that brought the brown asbestos in resulting in the floor being closed 9although it tookthem 2 days to realise the danger and shut it!).
The one with the working paternoster lift (THE only plus point), bodged and un-reliable passenger lift, toilets that block every few weeks, windows that dont close properly etc.....

Ahh no point in spending money then....
Work this one out then.....comp place i used to work at.....and threw loads on air con in the computer room.....temp in comp room never got higher than 18C
They had emergency 'fire' switches on the outside of building......trouble was local hooligans used to turn the switches off.....these turned off the the aircon in the server room......but used to leave the servers running......bout 30 mins later servers would overheat and crash ::)
