i know what you mean about the primer colour...
i didn't want them too dark, but then again, not too light.
i will get some pics on here next week, when they are on the car, thought i'd give them a week in doors to dry that little bit longer.

Nice finish on em Steve but would it be to much messing about to mask em up to get the original two tone which i personally think gives these wheels their look :).

Have you lacquered them as well :question.

Tbh i originally planned just to sand off all the corrosion, and re-lacquer, but the back wheels were that bad i couldn't really save them.
I could of painted them in the same sort of style as standard, but i think that may have been a nightmare.
I have lacquered them but the pictures don't really do them justice, they look a lot better in sunlight, hoping they look even better on the car  :D

In all fairness, when i put the first coat of paint on it looked like the wheel had been powder coated.
Then just look at results after a few coats of lacquer...

I just had a play around one day, wasn't a fan of the standard air intake.
So i just gave my car a direct air feed.
Does keep it a little cooler.

I was just wondering Steve, if because the wheels are all black and so are the tyres that maybe the inner part of the rims would look better silver with the spokes left as they are :-/.

Just a personal observation but do look OK as is :y.
