I have fitted facelift door mouldings to my 98 prefacelift
i painted the front bumper (top of it anyway)
I am not sure if it looks ok or not
obviously the rear bumper has still to be done but wanted some feedback before i go any further

Looks like an interesting hybrid and original. :y :y
If you had zommed in a bit, and recomposed the car a bit lower in the frame, with that lighting and mood seeting you would have had a shot worthy of being a calendar entry, imo. :)

I think it gives it a unique look and I like it!
More pictures please!

I'm going to do that to mine, got the side mouldings and also a Facelift rear bumper, just need to spray it all and fit :).

break me thats exactly what I am doing at the mo, in the middle of doing the door trims today!
I was a bit dubious about colour coding the front but yours looks good so will go ahead, did you just prime, colour and Laquer over the black bit?
-
Wouldn't mind seeing a few more shots D :) :y :y

Thats the main reason i done it
I felt the pre facelift looked quite dated
although my plan was to get a irmscher front bumper for it untill i seen the price of them.
I have to say i used plastic primer halfords paint and no laquer i didnt want it shiney it has a slightly matt look to it which looks right on the car to my eye anyway

Think the grill is a wee bit bare...looks like it fell out rather than it was styled that way.
Maybe a very subtle dark grill, with no badge (because that does look quite good)..?

like that a lot :y :y
