One of my nuts are rounded :-[ :-[ :-/ :-[ :-[









Its the gearbox fluid change nut. ;D
So anyone any ideas on getting off a rounded 13mm nut with run of the mill tools? ::) Lets hear some ideas then ;)

Try using a real good pair of mole grips.  :y :y

Theres a bird i used to know in Amsterdam as i recall she was very good with nuts ;D ;D ;D
and as for her tool box w..e..l..l :y :y :y ;D ;D ;D

Seriousley, as said try a pair of mole grips if you can get to it or try tapping it with a chisel and hammer.

I've got a specialised tool that will remove it, without question.

I'll need your word I'll have it back though, it was expensive kit :y

Sorry don`t know whats wrong with me tonight must be the heat wave here ;D ;D
perhaps mole grips would be the better idea and a bit of muscle power to go with it.

Before that, try an imperial 1/2inch spanner, it's just sliiiightttly tighter than 13mm, and may grip it..

My nutz will be fine once I have losened the round one off a little! ;D ;D ;D

thanks for the offer of the removel tools fellas, but before I do owt else am gonna try the mole grips and muscle method in the morning.
