Chilling - can I ask what happened T?

was leaving a slip road to go onto a dual carriage way, in the process over took a lorry who was in front. changed gear from 3rd to 4th and the back end slipped out. the road was extremely wet so slid sidewards into the nearside grass bank then remember being upside down back on the tarmac.

Wow - get a lottery ticket this week as looking at that "A" post on the drivers side your very lucky - you may have been seriously injured if you had a sunroof model !!

What a shame as it was a nice example, was anything mentioned about the blue lights you had behind the grill as I see the Irmy grill has dissapeared??

i'm a tall bloke so thankfully my seat is back quite a bit. plus once i realised that i was going to crash i sat back into into the seat and let it be.

a while ago i had tinted the blue strobes. the police have inspected the car since the crash but even before, i had been pulled 5 times because they could see them but no action could be taken on they're part

JESUS!

I have double rolled a 4x4 in the past in the same situation-everything in the car ended up smacking me in the face- like being in a washing machine full of bricks  >:(

Looking at your car, you were indeed lucky to get out-and not to have hit anyone else-it is a sobering reminder what can happen in the blink of an eye.

After my experience, I avoid sunroofs and will not have ANYTHING loose in the car-even my tomtom mount is screwed down and the unit held in place with sticky tabs on the mount.
A girl was killed near our house-not by the heavy impact, but by a camcorder hitting her head.  Sobering.

I wonder what the outcome would have been in an older car without the 'bags and safety cage?  The Omega let you live...

Hope you get sorted asap.  My roll shook me for a while  :y
Gald you're ok  ;)

Ok, these images scared the s* out of me.
It looks way worse then my crash in january.
I'm happy to read you are OK, because this many damage never promises good things to passengers.

Try and select a new Omega, I'm sure you'll find a good one...
Still a pity.

What a crash that must have been.. I'm glad the Omega did his job well till the last second of his life.

Now you're okay it's safe to say I'm very sorry about the car. Hopefully you can find a worthy replacement. :)

What do you have in mind for your next car?

Glad you're OK and that's the main thing.  You can't be replaced, but the car can.

When I wrote off my Mig back in Feb I was gutted but relieved that the car protected me - I wouldn't want to be in any other car, which is why I bought another Mig in May!  Just couldn't contemplate buying anything else.

VERY nasty, but human life is above even an omega, so as said, glad you're safe.

Suprised that it went off to be crushed. So the alloys, rear spoiler, etc were all totalled beyond salvage, I'm guessing?

Looked a very tidy car pre accident.
On a lighter note, why not put in on ebay as a damage repairable along with some of the other scrap dodgers comedians list on there.
Hope your insurance gives you a decent valuatiuon as well.
