That'll be handy! ::) ::) ::) ;) :y

Actualy, be careful of silicon spray as it can conduct a little electric.
I have seen more than one case where it caused the HT to track and destroyed LCD displays on radios etc

I'll remember that one.
I'll use it on black plastic such as the bagpipes etc and some other hoses. I have to be sparing with its use now as I only have a limited stock from a life before Heinz ::)

I am going to be brave here and offer profound appologies to Simon for slagging him for his retail prices. Having seen how clean his engine bays are, I must say I am more than impressed. I for one would buy from him as they all seem to be serviced and cambelt serviced before you get them. Looking back, I think I need to engage the brain before engaging the keyboard.
For that Simon I appologise publicly and also I have sent you a PM as well

looks good steve.. ive got a spare inlet ive been meaning to polish since i got the car ;D i will have it done tho!... also having a few custom covers welded up and either polished or powdercoated 8-)
out of curiousity, where did you get your blue vac piping from?
-
This is my engine bay - I just wipe it over whenever I wash the car, not a fan of the silicone look as I always think that the stuff manages to get on places you don't want it, like the windscreen!
(http://i475.photobucket.com/albums/rr113/Belldarr/omega/13.jpg)
-
When buying a car, I prefer it if the engine and bay hasnt been blasted clean of any 'imperfections' that may have lurked there previously...
-
i dont use silicone, i keep before and after pics, i use plastic enhanser, just on the plastic bits, not on the metal. people spending their savings on a new motor usualy like them mint to make it worth coming to get the car, but if show them the before pics, they see it was ok but now is like new.

The blank has ben replaced, as has the coolant cap and oil filler cap with the chrome one, the engines just a wee bit dusty at the moment but still clean :y
