Hello and a very warm welcome to you! ;)
Lovely cars! :y :y
If you want to say hello to more members and get their attention, put your post also into the "Newbies Welcome Area" ;) ;)

-
nice car :y what tyre size on that 20"
225 30 20 on the 8,5 and 9,5J :o
-
have on mine 235/40/19, on your wheels tyres looks to small , I know look nice but on road is driving like just on rims
-
I know ;D
but I'm used to drive just on rims ;)
on the astra I had 185 35 17 tyres on the 7,5J Merc Segin ;D
bought alsoo an Irmscher spoiler so if anyone is interested in this spoiler:
send me a pm ;) brand new spoiler in plastic and fits 100% ;)
-
Looking forward to see this omega and his tranformeason. Nice astra, maybe the coolest i have seen!
-
thanks :D
Saturday, the KW coilovers will be installed ;D
I bought alsoo another original frontbumper to let this one cleaned like the one that I had on my astra..so the lisenceplat will be removed like on this pictune:
this cost a lot of money but there aren't much nice bumpers for an omega and this way, it stays OEM and it keep the original lines of the omega :y
-
I have also KW V.2 on the omega :) Just screw it at the lowest hight and it will be great. and remove the thing under the spring. :D
-
your omega is idd quiet low ;)
hope I can get low with my 20inch wheels ;)
-
Nice clean looking miggy..
If it ends up looking half as nice as the astra, it will be a very special miggy
:y :y :y
-
Love the Mig and the wheels but those tyres look almost non-existent and must be like driving on wagon wheels :o. Those kerbing strips on the tyres are also redundant so you'll have to be very careful with kerbs :(.
-
as you can see on this pic, I'm used to drive with very stretched tyres ;)
got the mercedes wheels for 3 years without any kerb damage ;)

-
Nice Omega, really love the interior of the Astra :y
-
Any news on the Suspension and wheels yet fella?
-
hi,KW suspension is placed but is still high cause I have to go to the technical controle within 2 weeks to let check the coilovers...
after that, the coilovers will be screwed donw as far as possible ;)
-
Dying to see this when its sat on the floor!
-
this monday, I'll go to the technical control and if it is ok, the omega will be screwed down afterwards ;)
-
pics off the cleaned bumper and wheels ;)
the tyres in the back will be replaced in 245 30 20 cause it's a silly sight with the 225 30 20 :o

I'm going to 'clean' the 'sprayer' above the window..think it's gonne give the back a much cleaner look this way ;)
-
This is shaping up lovely!
Would you be good enough to detail how you get the ride height looking so good. How does it affect ride and handling?
-
thanks;)
I got a KW coilover set and with the 20 inch wheels, it looks this way ;)
When I got the new 245 30 20 tyres for the rear, the front will be screwed down a bit more...
with 18 or 19 inch wheels, I can go much lower but then the wheels will be to little to look good ;)
20inch is perfect for an omega :D got 7cm between the ground and the bottem of the car so I can drive very good without damaging the car like I did with my astra ;D
It's still very comfortable and drives very good ;)
the only negative point is the price of the tyres :'(
-
OOOOOOhhhhhhhhh Yes like that very much for an estate it looks phat as you like. :y :y :y :y
-
Tyres of course expensive! But I've just checked out prices on KW Coilover kits and they ain't exactly cheap either! :(
-
KW V1 was 1200euro...
-
lowered the car a bit more in front and with the new 245 30 20 tyres rear:
rear is the lowest as possible so I' going to look for shorter springs...
-
I do like the front grill 8-)
-
I do like the front grill 8-)

Very very nice looking car my friend :y :y :y :y
-
very nice mate
-
Amazing astra!
-
take it u dont have speed bumps over there! ;D
-
believe me, in Belgium, they have some huge speedbumps :D
alsoo ordered 2cm spacers to set te rear a bit wider :y
-
Car looks really well, lovely rich colour :y :y
-
just putted the 2cm spacers on the rear...it isn't that nice on the pics but IRL it's much better :D
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/astralogie/Omega/100_2597.jpg)

changed the 20inch wheels into my original 17inch wheels...I have painted them in the original Papyrus color from the astra H ;)
also fitted 18inch Porsche Turbo wheels but 18 inch is way to little for an omega :o
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/astralogie/Omega/porscheomega.jpg)
and a nice pic from last summer ;)

Very very nice indeed! :y, but it's been a long time since I saw a car with floorboards LOL ;D
-
thanks ;)
but what does 'floorboards' mean?
-
Hey Glenn, geweldige reeks foto's.
Heb hier ook even aangemeld.
Als je nog eens naar een Opel of Omega meeting trekt in Engeland wil ik wel es mee (en ik denk ook wel enkele NL'ers ;))
Sorry guys, just a few words in Dutch for my fellow Omega-driver from Belgium :P
And indeed, what are 'floorboards'?
-
VBOA is een algemene opel-bedford en vauxhall meeting dus niet speciaal voor omega's alleen ;)
idd, still waiting what 'floorboards' means :D
-
a quick snow pic ;)
-
Were the Porsche rims a direct fit?? Nice looking ride man!!
-
I think this is what he means by floorboards
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v249/astralogie/yve518.jpg)
-
