Graham used it on all his Sennys, its whats recommended in hot countries.

He said if he was going he would use it.... so i am. It with stands higher temps, and with heatwaves in Germany i might need it!

lol @ golf buddy!

The air bed pump isnt a foot pump is it  :-/

If so,  me being a lazy git would chuck that and go get a halfords plugs in ciggie lighter socket electric pump bout £20 (there on offer at the mo) ......you'll be knackered pumping those air beds up by foot  ;D

They come with little adaptors for airbeds/footballs/etc and would be handy if you got a slow puncture  :y

Good point, they are cheaper.......but the one i was thinking of was a tyre inflator.....would be quicker than a leisure pump...and also added benefit of being able to blow up tyres, just dont leave it set to 30psi when doing the airbeds  :y  ;D

Wish you all the best with your Europe trip.  For your air bed inflation pump, I would not use a footpump nor an electric car tyre compressor, but a pump from argos like this:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3400171.htm

Also, take a blanket for each bed.  Put the blanket on the air bed and the sleeping bag on top.  The air in the mattress gets cold at night and the blanket will stop this coldness reaching you!

Do you require a fire extinguisher for any of the countries you are visiting?  You may also want to think about taking some spare fuses and a water container.

Like the list of cameras!

Hope all goes well for you and glad that you have got the sump sorted.  Looking forward to seeing the pics!  When do you leave?

Looking at your list I would DITCH a lot of stuff.

5litre petrol can ? What for. Jump leads?  All that electrical stuff? Just need a camera, memory sticks, mobile and an Internet Cafe.

ADD

Cool box- preferably powered off a cigarette lighter.
Coffee and a small kettle, tupperware type boxes, sharp knife, bottle and tin opener. Small container of washing up liquid. Plastic plates and mugs.
Rechargeable torch

have a great trip

Jump leads are worthwhile, and take no space.

As for the electrical gadgets, he's a young, (just ex-) student - ipods and laptops more important than eating!

I've carried a set of 'em in the boot for years, and have proved themselves usefull on many occasions, both for me & others. Especially handy if you drive an auto.

Agreed, I keep the jump leads, 12v compressor, tow rope, and book of lies (along with a small screwdriver/spanner set) in the MV6 all the time :y
