Title: My Irmscher Omega in the Bodyshop, Rear Wheel Arch
Post by: Jim on 01 April 2010, 22:55:42
Took the Omega to the Bodyshop today to get the rear wheel arches done, as the dreaded rust had returned >:(

And this one shows a small dent being repaired too, I can't prove it but I think the window cleaner done it when he was cleaning the windows at the rear of the house and done it with the bottom of his ladder when he was carring it around on his shoulder >:(

Aye, three and half years ago I got it done, but a little bit of the rust has creeded back :'(
So I took it back to the place that first did it and they agreed to repair the rust :y

Anyway got the car back, and took a few pic's.

is that front bumper fitted properly?
because there is a bit of a gap between bumper and fender.

otherwise, the car is perfect. it looks amazing! :y :y

i have a similar situation. car was fully resprayed 2 years ago, and now the left wheel arch needs to be done. and i hate paintjobs, because they always  mess it up :'(

The gap is normal, I've seen a few migs with this kit and they all have that gap :y

Kit suits pre-facelift, gives it that little extra  8-) I feel F/L kit is a bit much, and does not really suit shape  :-/

But thats just me  :)

With so many new members, and us older ones perhaps losing a little memory !!! perhaps you should just give a quick resume of the work you have done? After all, your Omega must be unique?

It actually cost me £200.00 to get the work done, but for that he painted the full quarter panels on both sides of the car and did a fantastic job :y
