I see that it still has two wiper arms ....... and LHD ;)
-
Yeah looks like a LHD is the one to go for if youn want to do this conversion
Does look the dogs ********
-
Looks very well implemented, pity it's not got some projector headlights.
-
Vents look out of place and naff, dont folow the cars lines, headlamps altho clean need updating to hid's and not a great fan of the el cheapo steinmetz grille, had one and it looked like a boy racer had made it out of old dvd cases, irmy one is far better constructed, and closes that gaping mouth inbetween the headlamps better.
as for the lhd hmmm stil prefer rhd, but thats what im used to,
would be interesting to see some build pics/writeups, what back end and box is used etc.
-
cant but agree with you about the looks, Im sure something more befitting the styling of the omega could be achieved. Still, who wouldnt want a lotus omega?
-
Our very own Omegatoy did one :y
-
Looks like a really tidy install.
But the exterior bits really aren't too my taste at all. The grill and bonnet vents look totally out of place and cheap. Not so keen on the the mirrors either. The front spoiler and debadging are ok though :P Totally subjective ofc.
-
It's not an M3, so take the mirrors off. The lips at the bottom of the bumpers look naff too. And the vents.
Make it look like a 2.0 Select Omega. Put a Lotus lump in it.
Then it's properly admirable.

Yep, its definitely the superior straight six engine in there. :y :D
-
Very nice. :y
-
First one i have seen! love it
-
WOW!!
-
I love this and i think the kit and grill and mirrors look fantastic...Steinmetz gear is not cheap at all i have the grill on mine and it cost me around £200....I have been trying to get a set of these mirrors for years. of course its all about peeps different styles and taste but i love this looks different to eveybody else omegas who all seem to follow each other. Just my 2 pence worth. Must admit i agree about the vents.

to cool the charge cooler i did something similar when i did it, but mine was a complete sleeper still badged as a 2.0 16v complete with rust patches!!!! :y
-
thats not the lotus car, thats the estate from his picture gallery, so doubt its for that..
-
Are the bonnet vents functional when you transplant that engine over, or were they just styling on the LC/LO?
-
That looks absolutly bloody disgusting.
A perfectly good omega turned into a tacky boy racers eyesore....I mean what's the point of putting BMW M3 wing mirrors on a Vauxhall.. :-?
I'd rarther pack up driving and go and buy a weekly bus pass then drive that ugly thing :P
-
looks great, i want one!!! :)
-
if you have a look on his site he has another lotus he's done on there which looks better this car is under simply omega heading but gotta say his other lotus looks the bees knees
