Title: Bargain - ronnie too busy....
Post by: RonaldMcBurger on 01 September 2006, 22:52:07
Anybody quick enough to grab this?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1998-VAUXHALL-OMEGA-CD-V6-SILVER-S-REG-3-OWNERS-MANUEL_W0QQitemZ250024873342QQihZ015QQcategoryZ9858QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

If I hadn't just filled my drive with cars this would be bought instantly. LOADAPROFIT in this one. Autotrader it for £1495 tomorrow!

Oh, and apparently its a 4 wheel drive version????? I don't think so, but £575 for an S-reg Estate MANUAL gearbox? Grab it quick. This is exactly what I search for. I won't throw any more out to you guys.....

I tell you what, if its still there in the morning I will nabb it. That will sell for over double that in Autotrader. Easy money. I'll find somewhere to park it, after all it is taxed as well.

You guys are unbelievable.

I just came back from meeting with Omegatoy, a damned nice bolke if ever there was one. Anyway, I thought that if none of you have had the brains to buy this car, I will. Someone else did so at lunchtime, not one of you guys I take it!

Next time I see a bargain I will of course be buying it. I want to hear no whinging about where do I get all my bargains. In fact, I am making it a new sticky as well!

I was actually put off by it.

Firstly he's had one or more non payers.....why?  :-/
Secondly that engine is too clean! Only AA's got an engine that clean  ;D
I am sus of cars that have their engine recently cleaned...trying to hide leaks?  :-/
And its not that he's proud of his car hence the engine being clean.....as if you look at the boot pic...thats not terribly clean.

And actually he does say it has a small oil leak.....depends what means by small?  :-/

So it might be poss head gasket/oil cooler failure.
Doesnt mention state of tyres....may need 4 news one.

In fact doesnt say very much about the car at all

Also good get out clause in the ad 'selling on behalf of family member'
So if you go to pick it up and notice something wrong....then he will prob say 'sorry didnt notice'

Maybe the reason for the non payers  :-/
