What do people think about my very first photoshop picture. My dad hopes to have his car looking like above. My dad progress thread.http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1302439974 alot of car parts being primed today.

Clever photo-shopping :y :y
but, IMHO, the wheels/tyres/calipers spoil the look (wheels too big, tyres too skinny and why do we need to see the calipers in bright red ??) and the "black" glassware/lights does nothing for the car. :(
However, that is just my view,..... its your dad's car and he can do what he likes to it !!!

I like that look - but what's more important is that you and your Dad do too!
Be prepared for feeling every bump with big wheels and low profile tyres (lowering too?) - don't know what the roads are like where you are (Ireland?) but it can get uncomfortable!
Will there be another like it? No? Job done!

Looks like the steinmetz pre facelift omega that they had in the steinmetz parts leaflet many years ago and was sporting a cadillac badge. :y

God help you driving on 18's with 35 series tyres far less the 19" with 30's on the first pic ,on Kerry Roads ......

Different.... I do/not sure if I like it :-/
I personally would like it in white, but with the other alloys on and non smoked h/lights...... ;)
Then again, I'd dream to have the car in the first place, lol.

BTW, spot the mod that i did that no one has spotted, not even my dad and he has being looking at them for 3 hours last night.

Just figured out how to turn the lights on. Also make rims smaller and changed calipers to black, trying to find out what make the wheels are.

BTW, spot the mod that i did that no one has spotted, not even my dad and he has being looking at them for 3 hours last night.

The car was actually a Cadilac Catera, it sported all of the steinmetz goodies in development for the omega at the time.. Including a Supercharger kit.. But alas it was only a Concept Car and the engie modifacations were never put into production..
I contacted steinmentz afew weeks ago, about the engine modifacations, and I even offered to buy the plans for the supercharger modifacation but they wouldn't sell them...

that one of the first things i noticed.. I really lovethe od..and am thiking of getting my miggy booked in to have it done, just trying to find a decent solonoid kit for it.. (having the doo release under the wing mirror like on the TVRs)

:yThats right mate it was a catera i had the fuel cover off it sent to me from the u.s it was being broken on ebay some years ago now i wanted the engine to but would have cost me to much. I have seen a few on ebay.de. Cars with full with the steinmetz superchager and kit on i did post them up at the time in general chat i think it was but again cost was way to much to buy the car let alone getting it home and breaking it as i only wanted the supercharger off the engine. I know courtenaysport did a turbocharge or supercharger at one time and when i asked they said it was for thepolice in irland and they had misplaced the blueprint >:(.

I have the stienmetz catalogue and have read and seen the ratz omega a few times on here. Shame they diden't make a v8 omega. :'( :'( I would love to supercharger mine.

theres a supercharged omega someone has posted on here.. its from germany and uses a supercharger from a merc clk 230 kompressor
