Just filled it up with petrol, I don't drive it very often, and noticed there's a fair amount of play in the steering wheel (about 1.1/2").
Don't suppose anyone know's if it can be adjusted, can't see anything in Haynes.

What year is the clit? If it has power steering there is a relay situated in, I think, the nearside wheel arch. This provides feel to the steering. Could be that this has packed up. Or of course excessive play in steering rack. :)

Has it always been like it? Any chance of trying another clit to see what that ones like....a visit to a renault dealer might be the answer to test drive one :y
