Title: My MV6 miggy
Post by: V55ASH on 09 August 2011, 17:30:59
Hope this works ok, it's been lowered (very very low) on bilsteins, has newly powder coated alloys, and a noisy induction kit (very addictive lol) anyway comments welcome good or bad

Looks great.

I thought it was Penfold / M's old car but it is a different reg - same age and colour though...!

I'm guessing yours is a 2.6 due to being manual?

Cheers people, all nice feedback, yes it is the 2.6 manual and it has been loved and cherished in it's past. There's a folder full of receipts and info and to be fair there is only one slight carpark ding on the passenger rear arch (not for long though).

Wasn't sure on the colour myself until I actually viewed it, that viewing made my mind up straight away :) for the price I paid and the money spent on it it was a no brainer.

As said in my newbie post I'm a vectra and astra man having owned 7 of them ranging from the 1.4 astra to the vxr and the Sri veccys to the gsi I stupidly sold this year :-[

Anyways thanks people :y

Just noticed a heinous crime....the car looks cracking in and out......apart from the water splashes on the alloy 2 pics up. Shame on you fella pretending that you care for your car. Chamois the alloys in future  ;D ;)

Can we have an adjudication from an Administrator please  :y

Every part of my car gets cleaned, chamois and polished,
wheels, mudflaps, exhaust etc. That'd be from moving the car backwards to take pics of the front, i swear them bolt holes hold a gallon of water >:(

bolt holes definitely have bad design.. :-/

I love the colour too. Why does every Omega I own have to be Z157 star silver?...... :-/

Thanks for all the nice comments people.

The colour was one of the reasons I liked it to be honest, I've always bought silver's and grey's so it was a nice change, plus you don't see many around.

The induction kit is more than likely the viper one although I've no proof of this, no receipts so can't be sure but the car runs as sweet as and has no issue's or warning lights etc... Very addictive noise too, infact too addictive as my fuel consumption dropped to 23mpg lol. Back up to 27 now though with some sensible driving :)
