Title: GLS £400
Post by: Black Knight on 01 July 2009, 18:26:31
Not mine, but saw it on my local Gumtree (York). I don't know the guy nor am I reccomending it in any way.

If he'll come down on price it could be worth a punt.

seems a little expensive for a 2.0 gls spec car, but having said that if its what your looking for, like you say could be worth a look!

He's trying the £2K scrappage angle.
Our survey said? Err - errrrrrrr!

Gotta own a car for ten or more years for that allownace (unless some dealers offer better terms, of course).

Given that I've justr spent £80 on 2 tyres and £100 on head gasket set, skim pressure test and new fluids on a knackered old astra 1.6 8V spi (75 bhp) and 2 days under neath it, £400 seems a bargain.

I know, I get attached to a car after 20 minutes, I'd never give one up after ten years...

ive got some of these gls on R S T reg's for 150/350 but they never make any money as theres loads about that are that price. its a minefield tho, some £400 cars are mint and one owner and in great shape,  some are absoulutely hanging and need more than that spent on them.  buyer beware!
