Title: 2003 Elite Sapphire Black Reduced in price
Post by: Simon_Omega on 08 July 2009, 10:45:27
Reducing the 2003  39,000 miles from new,  3.2i SAT NAV LT  by £1000 for OOF.
to £4995 as there was no need to carry out any service work & belts etc done 3k ago in sept.

It is available from saturday onwards.

i will retail her on autotrader next week if not, however i would like to offer the reduction to someone deserving rather than joe public.

Probably a really daft question, but what does "LT" mean?

Had I have not just spent a fortune moving home I may well have been interested in this.

Imagine an Omega in annother 10 tears with only 69k on it and 1 previous owner. (and at that I am not sure if the police as classed as former keepers)

.... until it fell into the clutches of the great unwashed, prior to being shipped to auction.

Not saying for sure thats what happened to this particular one, just basing it on experience eslewhere.  Once the High heid Yin got his new car, the cast off passed down through the chain of command until it became a pool car then orft to the great auction house chopping block for a reincarnation as the CC's personal prized transport, (conveniently missing a few thou' miles of potential use and abuse...).   :-X

when you have a car with genuine mileage and service history to prove it, and someone starts yapping about chopping mileage off, would you get a bit pissed off?
the cars for sale, if someone wants it buy it, but stop hammering my post with bullshit.

No one is implying its been clocked, far from it....    ;)

Point I am trying to make is that the car may well have started as a CC car but, once he got his replacement, the car would have become a pool car for a period before it went off to auction.  Seen the CC's car becominmg a new undercover car for the Drugs/Surveillance squad in some instances!  It is those pool miles that I am referring to, in potentially less than carefull hands.   :y
