I'm open to offers close to the money mark, can't belive it's still here to be honest, great looker and the fact it's the manual mv6, great for towing and had the works done as listed that cost a bit.
anyone?

Didn't you just buy yourself a truck or something? not done with the mig's yet?

Isuzu Bighorn (Jap version of the Trooper).
Only bought it because..
1. It was there
2. It was the right price
3. People don't f*ck about with you when it comes to giving space
not done with the mig's yet?
I only sold the last one because the old lady complained it was too slow.
-
you had a facelift before so do you really want a pre?

What I realy want is that "one off, rare as rocking horse s*it, one owner, low mileage, immaculate, 54 plate, 3.2 Elite, fully loaded, and with manual box".
In the meantime, I'll settle for something that provides a huge grin factor when the old lady spanks the s*it out of it occasionally.

My bid of £500 is based on the pics (which aren't that good TBH), your description, and the fact I'd be prepared to put £500 in your hand without even looking at it.
If you are holding out for more, then I'd obviously want to see it, etc before I consider improving on that offer.

Will have to do better than that killer, i'd rather keep, try to find a manual mv6 with all that work done under £800

Fair enough Rob, but my bid is based on what an insurance company would pay if it went total loss the following day.
Private good is £545, with dealer good being £740.
Like I said, I'm prepared to up the ante...but it would have to be very good.
As I said earlier, there is no way I'd pay anything above dealer price no matter what has been done on a car that age - but if you're confident it's so good that I'd willingly get £740 out of my bin then let's talk.
-
I think we all know that insurance companies pay rock bottom prices because they are good at screwing people!
If we all went by what "the book" says then we would be out of pocket by a long way! ::)

Insurance valuations are based on book prices, and they do pay the full dealer retail unless the inspection shows the car to be a real piece of crap prior to the accident.

Thanks guys, insurances are f##ked up anyway sometimes pay more than the motors worth :-/
No garage would put this mig up for £740 looking more like a grand plus, even a messy rusty mv6

So it's rusty, messy, and you want a grand for it? ;D ;D
Seriously though Rob, £740 would be my best offer....and that's assuming I find nothing wrong with it (consumables accepted).
If Omega's were as hard to obtain as (say) the 4x4 I've just bought, then obviously that would up the asking price due to the rarity. Unfortunately, they are still widely available...so that's what I'm prepared to go to for a car that's nigh on 12 years old and in plentiful supply.

i think for £900 its a steal. the guys had repairs done which i just forked out about £650 to have done on a newer one, (didnt have time myself) so its got the added value of nothing to spend on it.
Looks clean for the year. takes me back to my 1 owner example i bought for £4000 about 4 summers back, it was mint tho.
its good to see others are doing the work required before sale.
and a shame the book prices are invalid, as collectable cars are worth more. my 3.2 elite books at about 3100, but is up for £5500, because others are selling for 6000+.
good luck on it robsy, hope you get near to your asking price for it. 750 is a fair close offer, but u might get more if someone is keen.
