no offence, but you will have to have a serious medical condition to give up a 3.2 MV6 for a VeccyB!

Saying that though mate,if the right vec gsi came along i would definately go for it,as i have had 3 vectras now,and know they are cracking reliable cars. :y

There's a huge difference between a veccy sri and a gsi though.

Dont know though mate, the 2.2 is a good engine, and he keeps up with me on pull off,and mine is a 3.2 auto.i reckon its probably about 155 bhp,and only done 70,000 miles.

No, it's not a good engine, especially considering number of camchains failures.

As far as I know it's only 143, comparing to 215BHP (and 290Nm) generated by 3.2 it's nothing and Vectra can keep up with the omega when it's in winter mode ;)

I have a very good condition 3.0 elitre ,just had a new windscreen in and a heater matrix, all heaters work great now, full leather and a full set of new tyres ready to go on ,its a bit big to fit in my garage ,not much room so i could be interested in a swap for the right veccy, mine is r reg, no oil in the plug holes, and no faults on the computers ecu, and it is faster than ghost drivers lol or so he says, it is a charcoal black colour, box works as it should ,just needs testing and taxing now [that was going to be my next job, can't see any faults so it should go straight through] pm me if anyone has the right veccy---JK :y
