Title: Caravan For Sale - Elddis Whirlwind XL 1986
Post by: richardirv on 14 August 2009, 15:54:02
This sale is on behalf of my Dad (Graham) whom some of you may have met at the recent York meet.

He has just bought a new caravan and has asked me if I would see if anyone was interested on OOF.

Elddis Whirlwind XL 1986 2 Birth £1200

Rear kitchen layout with oven, grill, hob, sink and 3 way fridge. The bathroom has a cassette toilet, shower and sink. The lounge area can be made into a double bed or left as two singles. It has a gas fire, fold away table, TV aerial point and aerial. There are also multiple sockets fitted in the van to accommodate your appliances.

We have recently fitted a new jockey wheel, water pump (for the hot & cold running water) and battery. The awning is in need of some repair as is the back kitchen window but both perfectly useable. Hitch lock security device included.

We have owned this caravan for a number of years and used it ourselves until recently. Importantly this van is dry though possibly showing its age a little in the decor. It’s a great little van to get you started. We’ve recently purchased a larger van which forces this sale.

Happy to answer any queries or questions.

Beat me to it... Looks like a nice little van for someone.

If TB goes for the LPG conversion he might need it as the MV6 will be too small to get all the camping gear in ::) ::)
