Hi Guys,
I'm selling the wife's trusty old MV6, its MOT'd until end of July 2010 and currently taxed until end of November (IIRC).
1998,106k, Bose Stereo 6 CD & Sub, Full black leather heated seats, carbon fibre interior insets (no wood), Power rear sun blind, no dead pixels on dash, auto tint rear view, HID headlamps, sunroof, cruise control, MV6 alloys, Tow bar, etc.
During the last year or so of ownership i,ve fitted new shocks front and rear, new disks and pads front and rear. Plugs and oil change (3 months ago), o/s & n/s ARB drop links, Rear Tyres, n/S bottom ball joint, Battery etc.
Good points: Generally a very good car, never let us down, engine pulls strong with no smoke, Auto box is smooth as silk and has the latest shift patterns programmed. Generally everything works. Body is very straight. previously owned by a fellow OOF'er. :D
Bad points: Oil/Water Heat exchanger needs replacing they are available from here: http://www.vauxhallworldparts.com/partsearch/partdetail.php?partid=93 have seen them cheaper somewhere for £94.
Local garages quoted around £100 to fit or you can do it yourself following this very helpful guide:

A little rust showing on some of the doors and rear arches (can post pics if needed).
The Wheels really need replacing as the tyre guys said they were all a little buckled (standard MV6 alloy + pot hole problem).
Drivers heated seat doesnt work (the other 3 do).

It will drive fine but clogs the header tank with oil contamination over a few days.
It hasn't overheated and the oil is not contaminated.
The car is no longer required due to redundancy & were based in Newcastle Staffordshire.
£700 drive it away. :)
