Title: Looking for 2.5 or more facelift omega in Scotland

Hi all,

Decided to downsize my landrover fleet from 3 to 1 so that leaves room for another omega, prefer one in scotland but willing to travel for the right one, must be facelift, prefer an elite but not to bothered 8-)

Got a facelift Elite 3.0 estate with a fresh years test on it as of last week.  Tax at cost.  Auto, leather, satnav, cruise etc.  Previously owned by JamesV6CDX then myself so important jobs already done i.e. cambelt kit, waterpump, rocker cover gaskets etc. as well as latest softwear via Tech2.  A few battlescars/lumps and bumps, 160k or so, but mechanically sound and pulls like the clappers.  Gives a shout if you need more info....

51 plate 2.6 cdx 12 months mot 4 new tyres cambelt kit and water pump full service cam cover gaskets all just done new windscreen leather interior all toys £1200 :y

Not yet, son is away in the car at the moment, but its basically the same as this one but with black leather rather than cream.

hi, im in dumfries, south west scotland. i have a w reg year 2000 2.5 v6 elite in silver with 80k on clock. been thinking of getting smaller but not made up my mind yet. sorry,not got any pics at moment.

I have a 2.6CDX for sale. 99k on clock. New cambelt fitted by Daz n Pete only a couple of weeks back.
Photobucket is down at the moment but there are pics elsewhere on here... I'll dig them out.

Hi Iain,

Car runs really well. No problems at all. I've used it regularly for work until I got my 3.2 Elite a couple of months ago. It's had oil changes every 5000 miles since I got it. Usually serviced by me but for good measure I took it to a garage recently for full service inclusing air, pollen and fuel filters. Also had a new windscreen fitted recently and full geometry setup about a fortnight ago.
Loo-Knee (Daz) and Elite Pete came up recently and di the cam belt, tensioners, water pump etc so everything has been done to a high standard.

Looking to get some return on the spend I've had recently so looking for offers around £1250.

MOT'd till Sep 26th 09. Taxed till 02/10.

I'll need to change the personal plate over to my Elite but that won't take long.

Wheres all the decent facelift omegas went? They all seem to be in England, ebay and autotrader are empty at the moment :(, looks like I may be waiting a while to get one :'(

It's on Autotrader at £1600 at the moment but I'll let it go for much less for OOF members.

Whoever buys this car will be over the moon I am sure. It is a lovely colour and not a mark on it as I could see.

Thanks for the recommendation Daz. As anyone who has seen Daz and Pete at work, they treat cars as if they were their own.
Will post up the 2.6 on the forum when I get home next week.

Did you ever find your new car?

I still have my 2000 facelift 2.5 CDX saloon, and would like to find a good home for it. SWMBO needs a smaller car for work, and I haven't get the heart to send the old girl for scrappage!

Body wise it is unmarked and everything works. The engine and gearbox are sound, but it could probably benefit from a new head gasket and manifold gasket at some stage. Right now my wife uses it every day for work, but it is a bit thirsty in stop go traffic.
