Title: Omega to Veccy audio swap?

Just wondering, Veccy only has a tape player

How feasable would it be to fit the CD changer, head unit, etc from my Elite? Would I loose steering controls and MID integration?

Are the MIDS the same between Omega and Veccy?

Should work, father in law has a vectra with the same audio as the mv6 had, except a 4 disk changer, not 6.

Easy enough to swap just the head unit to prove you have functionality, then you could do the trickier bit of the changer.

i suspect your veccy has newer style MID, so can't use elite one.

If your radio supports steering wheel (which sc804 does not), then tech2 can program in.
